I thought you were going to ask what it cost. I've got over 30k in my car and it still isn't complete. I'm factoring in everything needed to handle the power I expect to make. Pretty much nothing is still factory except for the t56 itself. Upgraded the clutch and hydraulic but I don't expect it to hold. I just want to dyno the car with the t56 maybe play with it some then swap to a built 4l80e so nothing in the driveline will be factory when all is said and done. That's a really low amount you have spent so far though. I had the receipts for my engine parts alone and it was near 12k then the F1a Procharger, front mount IC, race bypass valve, meth system etc was another 8-10k, clutch, driveshaft, rear end, suspension parts, drag rims and tires, line lock, abs delete, complete fuel system, full exhaust. My original budget is something to laugh at. I'm tripple it and still not done. All parts were bought new though and everything probably isn't a must have but when you are getting into that HP range the budget seems too go out the window. I have my own wideband setup, laptop with efi live to keep an eye on things. I haven't even looked much into making the car pass safety tech at the track so its going to need a cage and whatever else so I don't get kicked out. Goals are 850rwhp and be able to drive it to the track and run 9's and drive it home. It's not really a street car imo but I want to be able to take it to the strip and maybe up town on weekends. In the back of my mind I want that 8.9 slip after I get it hooking with the auto swap. Time will tell but but budgets don't seem to fit in with what I really want out of the car. That or I should have been thinking 50k instead of 20k to begin with as it will probably end up closer to that. Not saying it can't be done way cheaper and people will probably laugh at me for what I've already spent but I had the receipts for the major expenses until I got divorced. No telling how much I've spent on random fittings, tools, fluids, wiring components. I'm always running to the parts house when I'm working on it. No idea what the final cost will come out to be. I think that's why there is a sticky at the top warning about forced induction. Most see the price of a kit and don't factor in the parts they need to hold the power and actually get it to the ground. It is impressive what you have done so far but I would like to hear back in a year with what all has broke and has to be replaced. If you plan on running it hard at the track anyway. Making the power is only part of the process of making a fast car.

It is usually a mind blower when you figure in all the little thing that add up into the cost of a build. Bob

No, a P-1SC is a mild blower. Bob
