What's a good compression for a blower? Im thinking about upgrading my internals to make sure my engine will last w/o any issues, i want to be running 9-12 psi. |

9:1 compression is what people usually go with, or slightly under that....... Get some good rods, boost pistons, bearings, double roller timing chain, ported oil pump (LS6), other little goodies........get some 6.0L heads with the 73cc chambers, on a stock motor those will lower the comp to under 9.5:1 I believe..... Then pick a blower cam...... |

Diamond make good boost pistons that alot of people use there -8.66cc dish... will put you at 9:1 with 6.0L heads. use a set of Eagle rods and some good head studs and 6.0L heads and a good gasket and you should be fine.
