procharger conversion vehicle q's

I am still working on getting my procharged ls6 into my 81 cuttlass. I have a few issues I need help on.

1. The ps pump has been giving me alot of issues. Is the 5/8 hose inlet for the ps pump(i have a C6 pump) pressed in? Can I take it out? Can I press in a 5/8 tube with a 90 degree elbow in it? Does anyone already make this elbowed fitting?

2. For the iat sensor. Do i need a sensor that will thread into my inlet tubing with a bung? will an 88' camaro v8 iat sensor work? will it work with a 99' LS1 pcm? will it work with the factory harness plug?

3. What size couplers do I need to go from 3" tubing to factory MAF and factory throttle boddy?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can get a iat sensor from a Typhoon/Cyclone from any auto parts store, they work. The maf is 3.5", not 100% sure but I think the throttle body is 4.25" or close to it. I had a hell of a time finding a coupler for it. www.siliconeintakes.com is where I ended up finding mine.

any ideas on the ps pump? anyone? how to get a tight radius fitting on the inlet of the pump???

The pump fitting is pressed in the pump, I was able to get mine out and rotate it then press it back in so it would work with the transplant bracket.

Man I could not get mine out for anything. How did you get it out?

I used a litte heat on the fitting just warm it up don't get it so hot that the metal fitting gets soft and try to rotate it with a pair of channel locks and it will come out just take your time.

Ah. I was worried about applying heat. Didn't know if it would cook the pump.
