Finally got dyno and track #'s
Finally got dyno and track #'s The car is an 01' WS6. Stock motor, Hooker longtubes, D-1sc, 42 lbs. injectors, and a fuel pump. 460 rwhp at 5300 rpm and 7psi. My belt is slipping so I couldn't go any higher and only 12 degrees of timing due to some false knock ( gotta fix the exhaust). I have the ATI 8-rib on order so I can get 9-10 lbs. Want do you guys think? I'm hoping for 500 rwhp once I get the exhaust and belt slip fixed. I only got one run at the track and it was:
60' 2.411 ( steet tires )
1/8th 8.56 @ 92.5
1/4 12.77 @ 119

Sounds good man.... when i was at 7 psi i was running 12.55 @ 116 with a 2.2 60'. when i uped the boost to 11 psi the best i saw on a stock 10 bolt was 11.51@123. mph went up big time. that was with a 1.86 60' also...... get the tune dead o n because mine wasnt and i was running to much timing and i was getting alot of knock......i would replace the stock head bolts with heads studs also because thats what finally went .... a head gasket..... watch that rear end too

I never dyno'ed the car car stock but it ran 13.8 @ 103 at 4500' elevation. That 12.7 was at sea level. This weekend I'll see how it does at 4500' and try out the e.t. streets.
