I'm glad you are building this thing so I don't have to. Thanks for getting it out of the way for me. It's about time someone went 6's.

Billet 88's will support what 1500 + hp a piece? Why go with such large turbo's when something smaller will spool much quicker and reach your goal (2500+). It will be a battle between you and LMR to see who can spool first haha. It will be badass as all your builds are but when guys like Andy are going 195 with twin cast 76's that probably only make 1100 hp a piece why go clear to 88's. Seems a pair of Garrett GTX-4580 or precision's 8284's would rock the LSx world.

I'm sure he's going big because he wants a 6 sec time slip. Paul Major ran 88's I believe and never ran in the 6's with an LSx engine, so it wouldn't make sense to start with smaller turbos than that. Sounds like a killer plan to me!

x2, Andy's car will easily go 200. They were only at 26ish# of boost and not much timing in the motor to go 195mph. What turbos are on the LMR car, 88s?

That car goes thru some serious changes on a regular basis. The new build sounds wicked and wish ya luck with your goals.

Yes Phil the LMR car has 88's and you see the trouble they were having getting them to spool.

Casper had 80's it doesn't take 88's to run 6's guys.

About Mark's car going through changes a lot, serious changes at that note, I've seen the same trend.

It doesn't seem the motor in your combo's are the problem mark, it's putting the power down on that IRS rear end and making it work consistently that seems to be the issue. Although I'm not in his pits to know his problems or issues first hand that's just what I have seen with another local C6 turbo vette, they just can't get it to hook consistently.

You see another one of our C6 LSX ODR guy's has gone tq. arm like Paul Major did. I think it's the only way to get one of these cars to consistently go fast.

I wish I had the money and shop, and effort to do what Mark does and I do take my hat off to him for continuously trying to make the IRS work, but it comes a point and time, and money wise it would seem that it would only make sense to go solid rear axle.

What do I know though, I only have a mid to low 6 second 1/8th car let a lone 1/4.
