That is simply a work of art! Amazing in every aspect!
Maybe I missed it but what fuel are you running? I thought methanol but only saw one set of fuel rails and at that power level you would need a garden hose per cylinder of fuel if it was 100% methanol and I dont see pump gas having any chance of not detonating at 40psi of boost, and even Q16 seems unlikely...

Did some testing today...
for those of you who wondered if we would be able to spool the turbos I have some info to share...
We have been targeting a 6psi launch and ramping to a target number (10-40psi depending on the run) and have been able to ramp from 6-40psi in 1.58 seconds. So I'd say we are spooling it just fine
Car has been working great... getting the bugs out has been going well. Trying to decide if we think we are ready to go to MIR next weekend and play with the NMCA guys.

What type of constant care do you mean? Lashing valves is a given on a solid cam, but if the tune is right and timing is right then turbo motors will have many passes on it without failure. Ever heard of LMR down here in H town? They had a tt5 car a few years ago with an lsx block. I think it had a 101mm turbo on it. After a season full of passes tore it apart and bearings looked new. IIRC they reringed it and kept going. Car ran in the mid 7's iirc. People that are blowing motors up are A. either not built to handle the power, or B. Had something in the tune off and melted something. From most breakage that I have seen lately it was a timing problem, an air/ fuel ratio problem, or wastegate problem causing more boost than built for to happen.
Never said anything about melting it down.
I don't want to muck up Mark's thread.

I'm out at Mir in Maryland this weekend... Made 3 hits today had to pedal on all of them.
1) 8.0@194
2) 7.79@195
3) 7.89@192
Best 60' was 1.27...
If we stay hooked the whole pass it will go 7.2x@200
1) 8.0@194
2) 7.79@195
3) 7.89@192

Hopefully we will get it turned up a bit today... We are still running in shakedown mode. Small boost, not much timing, and a bit rich still....
