Explain this part "X" Explained! It's Running GOOD!!

Well, I don't know if you guy remember all the "Explain This" Threads. But I hooked up the Supercharger last Sunday night, and took it out for a test drive, and WOW! It's awesome! I haven't had a chance to dyno yet, but I'm scheduled for tomorrow so I'll be sure to post the number. Also going to the Track on the 14th so I'll try to get a good time. I'm not sure what ended up "fixing" the problem. I was putting new valve springs in and broke a bolt off in the head, so I had to pull the heads to take them to a machine shot to remove the bolt. I had him do a valve job on them while it was there. Brought them back and put them on the car with some ARP bolts. Rand it for a couple weeks stock without the supercharger. Changed the PCV system a little bit, Put the LS6 Valley cover on, Noticed a little "kink" in the plastic fuel line coming from the tank (between the stock fuel pump and inline pump) bent the pins in the fuel pump connections (so they would make better contact maybe) anyway, after all this, it's running AWESOME... I don't know which of these ended up fixing it but something did.. :D

That awesome. Thats the best, to do all that work and the car runs right afterwards. Bet you were getting bummed on the whole thing. Way to stick it out. I hope she puts down some awesome numbers.
congrats,
J:D

well good news and band news.. here's the numbers.. I forgot to pick up the print off.. I'll grab it tomorrw or sometime.

1st Pull (dyno messed up and didn't read right)
2nd Pull 407HP 529TQ
3rd Pull...... dum du dum dummmmm... sprayed water on the ground! Looks like my car sprang a leak from the passanger side head gasket! so needless to say it was trailored home. It's kinda bitter sweet.. it made good numbers but not without a price... sooo... back to the garage.. :bang:

What are you running for fuel system and injectors? What tuning? You really need to get that stuff in place and working before hammering the car :) If you are running a stock bottom end I would do a leakdown test asap.

good luck man,
Chris
