Adding an intake spacer for clearance?

I will be running a 5.3 with an edelbrock tall intake and tall elbow. I have a 4" cowl hood on my 69 Chevelle. I am planning to run the factory serpentine system with the alternator up high. This is out of a 2003 Suburban. I am going to be running a twin turbo on E85 without an intercooler. So I was going to split the tubing right off the throttle body and just after the bov. I think I will have plenty of room to clear the alternator but if not would it be any big deal to run my 1" open aluminum spacer? I plan to use the truck manifolds flipped for the turbo's.

It should help distribution...I ran a 2in spacer on my setup...

Cool. I don't plan on using it...just wanted an option if the tubing won't clear the alternator the way I am wanting to set up the turbo. I think I will have plenty though.
