boost or cube's Boost or cube' and why ! |
:burn:= :chug: no way around it, but boost is more fun in a DD car IMO.. |
A little bit of both. You wouldn't try to run 106mm with a 347, you could but it would be very laggy until 4500-5000 rpm's and you wouldn't put a 76mm infront of a 427. It all depends on your usage. Street or mostly track. That will differ in what you will use as far as cubes and turbo. |
Whats your goal! If it can be acheived NA then sure Cubes! Its just more reliable..... Boost is alot of fun though!! But it has a cost!! |
I think I missed the boat in my previuos post. OP are you asking should you go boosted or stay N/A with big cubes or are you talking about running alot of boost with small cubes or just going with big boosted motor so you don't have to use so much boost? |
go with both |
Personally, I'd keep the motor oversquared and make up the torque difference (read: shorter stroke) down low by playing with the turbine trim and AR. |
