Well I had the car out for a while last night working on my tuning and went to a local car show for the start of the Street Rod nationals in York this weekend. Lots of realy cool cars out. I made a couple half throttle pulls to 4500rpm I did see 7 psi in my one log. All I can say is WOW. This car pulls hard and the S88 spools fast. This thing is gonna be alot of fun. I hope to get some more pics and even some video of the car on Saturday.

Rock on man. Glad to hear its doing good so far. What psi are you hoping to see on it at this point? Ready to see some videos.

I am thinking it should see 9psi on the gate. Maybe I made 15 psi on the spring I had last year so I got a new one from JGS that they said was good for 8-9psi only one way to find out. I am hoping to due some WOT tunning tomorrow

Did some get some tuning done just not as much as I would have liked too. I do know that the car makes 9psi on the wastegate right now. I also found out that I forgot to tighten the set screws on my BOV and launched it off the charge pipe after a pull and drug it down the highway by the vacum line saturday afternoon. My BOV doesn't look very pretty any more but at least if still work.

I am gonna try and get the car on the dyno this week to do some tuning. I got a lead on the cheap dyno locally that will charger me $50 for the first 3 pulls and $5 a pull after that. They aren't overly concerned about time spent.

I did have a lot of fun cruising the car around during street rod weekend in York. I know I have all of my cooling issues from last year resolved. In very heavy traffic the hottest the car got was 200. And that was crawling for a mile in bad traffic. highway and normal crusing the car stays in the 170-180 range. I also think I successfully lite a fire under 1fastbirds *** to get him working on his car after taking him for a ride Saturday. The car is a blast to drive like it is.

I didn't get any good video but I snapped a few pics of it all cleaned up. Here they are.

It definately helped to get me motivated Dan. Gonna have to put in some serious hours but I want to get this thing moving soon.....Gonna be the black primered rat rod for awhile though.

Can't wait to see you get this thing on the track. It will need that chute soon too!

Well I spent this evening wiring up my line lock, Trans brake, 2step, and shift light. Then I took the car for a spin to make some WOT pulls. Car feels REALLY stong on 9psi and even stronger on 12. althought the 12 psi was by accident as I melted the vaccum line going to my waste gate. But I fixed that already and the car iks all loaded up and ready to Hit Cecil county dragway for some shakedown passes tomorrow night. Not planning to hit the car hard off the line as I haven't done any TB tuning. I just want to make some safe full pulls to finish getting the tune in line.
