Default How low is your filter?

How low is your air filter from the ground? i just put my d1 kit on my camaro with the truck blower hat and part of the filter is about 5-6 inches off the ground. The other thing that worries me a little is the filter sits right behind the foglight hole (i deleated my fogs) and lets possible rain in. I dont plan on driving the car in rain and if I get caught in a heavy down pour I would pull over. What are your thoughts?

put a sock over it.

I run 2 of my cars with the filter in the same location. They are DD's and neither one has had any serious issues with an oiled filter.

You do notice a performance change. Similar to having a clogged filter. I've traveled 150mi in a torrential downpour @70mph with my filter behind the "former" fog light.

It will drip dry overnight.
