To be honest, I miss my ls1 setup. It was useable and very well balanced. Could have road raced the car. This thing... I'll be surprised if it does anything. I'm hoping to leave with no boost it feels like it will come on instantly. I guess we will see.

well if i can keep it planted im sure it will be fine. I am switching wastegate springs and i am hoping to see about 8 psi off the gate. I think i can put down 8psi in first. If i can get the car to leave like it did on spray last year, or even how it did on motor last year im sure it will run some good numbers. I am not sure if the gt45 will get me where i want to be but it feel like it will take me way down in the 9s.

hopefully i will have something for you guys in a couple weeks.

Now you just need a ams 1000 to put whatever amount of power you want down at any time or speed.

the GT45 is like a perfect turbo for the 4.8/5.3 motors

I have an apexi avcr.it has some nice features. Boost by gear and rpm. I agree. This turbo does well but I bet it is going to run out of steam at high rpms.

Nope. Went with an aeromotive regulator and a -10 feed -6 return.

If he's using a Motec, it will do anything he wants as far as boost control and it wont cost him anything.

I was looking through your thread to get an idea of what RPM your 4.8 really started to spool the GT45 with the manual transmission, and this part tells me she must have been spooled up real well at 3600, huh?

Yes sir. 16psi at 3600rpms. Spools super fast, almost too fast IMO.

Tubes in slicks, alignment, some suspension adjustments and we will be trying again. I currently have the car a touch softer than it was last year when it worked so well. I am going to take it back to exactly where it was last year. If that doesn't work...I am going to change it over to the polar opposite. Going to make it as loose as I can.

Probably going to take the front sway bar off for this next time out. Hard or soft a little twist in the front won't hurt anything.
