Default E85 vs. Meth Injection D1SC Stock Bottom End

Mods in sig...

I recently upgraded from 3.5" to 4.5" intercoolers and a larger K&N inlet filter, so to be safe I am going to have the car retuned. I am thinking of possibly switching to E85 or adding a Meth Injection kit or both before the retune.

I was already making 556 rwhp and 485 rwtq @ 9 psi with the 3.5" intercoolers and the small K&N filter on the stock bottom end and stock heads. I know back when I orginally made these numbers it was considered the maximum for a somewhat safe and reliable tune. I assume with the 4.5" intercoolers and larger filter that I could possibly make another psi and a little more power. Would I be able to safely bump up these numbers even more with E85 or a Meth kit? If nothing else, would it make my numbers a little safer.

What should I shoot for?

If I decided to go with E85, I assume that my twin fuel pumps would be ok but that I would have to upgrade to larger injectors? Any suggestions?

you are going to have to go with larger injectors for e85 for sure. e85 is a great solution to IAT's and detonation etc.....methanol is too. That is why I am running both. The general consensus is that with e85 there is not need for the meth, but i already have the kit so why not ya know?

I have a local station that sells E85...

If I decided to switch to E85 what would I need to upgrade and what rwhp/rwtq could I expect or should I shoot for with a stock bottom end? I assume that my twin fuel pumps would be sufficient but not my injectors. Would 80's be enough or should I go even bigger for any future engine upgrades and higher boost?

If I got my fuel system in order to run E85 should I increase the boost 1 or 2 psi or just run more timing on the 9 psi that I have now?

pick injectors 30% larger for the power lvl you want because it take 30% more e85 than gas

I'm going e85 and using 95lb injectors. Don't limit yourself to 80's because once you forge your block you won't want to swap injectors a third time. 80's would be fine for your current goal, but why not have the headroom for later right? What sort of feed line and rails do you have and do you have a fuel pressure regulator?

yeah i was thinking 90-100lbs for myself as well. just for room to grow later on. 800rwhp on e85 will def take some injector. 80's seemed to be a snug fit after doing the math. sometimes mothers buy there children shoes that are a lil too big, so they arent getting a new set every three months. SAME method should apply here....as they are our babies.

Mine is a 408 with an f1a making 11psi. I have twin walbro 255's into a -10 feed line fast rails and aeromotive regulator. I have 80lbs injectors and pressure at 65psi. On 93 I was seeing max of 60% duty, now seeing 95%. Plus e85 gets shitty shitty fuel mileage. I am going back to 93 for now, but about to dump the f1a for a pair of twin turbos hopefully start on it this summer.
