Turbo LS1 Miata Dyno VID & #'s with COMP OIL-LESS TURBO!!!!!
A HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THANKS TO TRUE STREET MOTORSPORTS & Clint Davis & Sean Burt Located in Mckinney, TX... They did an exceptional job on the Turbo Fab Work and it came out beyond my expectations!!!!!
Hey guys...
some of you remember my build thread here a few months ago...
BUILD THREAD:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-pictures.html
Click on the build thread for the specs but its pretty much a 346ci Forged LS1 with a rear mount Comp Oil-Less 76mm 0.96 AR Billet Wheel T4 Flange Turbo @ 8psi boost...
It put down 632rwhp and 560rwtq @ 8psi Boost...
On the dyno, boost starts at 3000rpm and full 8psi and gate wide open at 3500-3600 rpm... its LIGHTNING FAST spool up...
I love it!!!!
I haven't driven it much on the street due to the rain but its STUPID WICKED fast... It... scares me...
No seriously... it scares me.
Anyway... heres the Dyno Video:

That's crazy! I know the Comp Turbo haters not gone see this coming lol. Especially them PTE fanboi poopra's lol. That much power in that light car I know it's scary. You really do not need to be raising the boost anymore lol. On top of all that the car and the fab work looks awesome. That's it. My mind is made up. I'm ordering my oil-less unit next week!!!!

I run a comp turbo (non oilless) and I love it. I'm getting out of bed right now and taking mine out for a high way pull. Love the instant spool,oh and almost 800whp on 17psi

THanks guys!
I can't wait to mount up the Drag Radials on tuesday!
The only downside is... its a street car... not a straight line race car... so I'm going to love but HATE the drag radials as I love corners...
I Autocross it about 6-8 times a year...
The car is lightning fast... All I've hit was 3psi boost on the street... it didn't spin... from 3rd gear going 50mph (1st gear goes 58mph) but it scared me enough to let out of it... I definitely need more seat time.
It ******* Boogies for sure.
Its 2600lb's.
Oh and by the way...
It made these numbers on a 500hp Spec Stage 1 Clutch... It also Boiled the tires off on the dyno.
It also made these numbers with ONE drop-in Aeromotive Stealth 340lph in-tank pump.... using -6AN Feed and -6AN Return Lines.
It should NOT have made these numbers with what its got... But... it did... and Im happy. I definitely under-estimated this turbo.
Its on Pump 93 by the way...

Grab some Toyo R888's and do not shave them if you are concerned with rain. They will handle the corners good and still hook up straight line.
Grab a Kenne Bell Boost a pump and put more voltage to your pump if you are running out. That will help get you by also.
Have fun in that lightweight beast.

It is self contained, the bearings are lubricated by grease rather than engine oil. The lines are for coolant and their job is to keep the center housing cool.
