Nice work Brian, almost looks like you could attached the feet of your main hoop to those suckers!

are the front and rear sub frames that far offset from each other?

Yes they are, about 2 feet. That is why we get cracks above the doors on our 3rd gens.

I want to weld in the BMR subframe connectors before putting in the new rear.

Is that a mark williams 3rd member? it looks alot like the one i have for my 9"

yup...have the nice crack on mine too....gonna make it go away though before painting

I have an 84 Z28 first car I ever had got it in 95 been sitting at my dads since 01 think it's time to do something with it. Thanks for the inspiration can't wait to see the outcome.

I'm in a bit of a holding pattern....been working some long days at work and have been too wiped out to wrench on it. I think I may go ahead and pull the trigger on the rest of the suspension so I can at least have a roller.

I've got a $100 BMR gift certificate I won at the last LSX shootout. Going to use that towards some BMR a-arms for coil spring conversion. Get the QA1 double adjustable shocks.

I've settled on the idea of using 4th gen rear brakes, so I'm going with the Billet specialties Street Lites that are already clearanced for 4th gen brakes. I'm getting them black anodized.

Not right now...didn't feel like working out in the garage while it was cold. Since I'm one of the lucky government employee bastards that will likely be furloughed, I'll probably have plenty of time to start tinkering on it, but not alot of funds available
