how cold is to cold on your iat?

Default how cold is to cold on your iat?

Say u ran a dual ais 100% meth kit a air ti air intercooler with a spray bar on it and e85 is there such thing as too cold?

I'm never said I was it was just a question.... I'm only running a a2a and e85 just curious if u could get to cold of a temp.

May want to pm unleashed-performance. They are running meth with e85 on their vette with great success.

you can not get to cold. I had the intake on my bbc truck frosted over. with two 14gph and a 12gph nozzles spraying at once. 717rwhp on mustang dyno at 5800rpm and ran out of pump, after new fuel system we spun it up to 6900 but never put it back on the dyno. frosted the intake many times
my gto, and a buddys vett is on e85 with meth,

So u can't get too cold but is there a point where its not affecting anything???

i mean 30deg iat and 20deg probley not going to see much gain.
I would say any thing under 40 will probley net lil gain

There is a guy I race with in Real Street 275 that has a blow through carb set-up S476R T6 1.32 AR 96mm turbine turbo and a 5.4v modular motor on 29psi of boost.

When he comes back to the pits after a run his entire intake manifold is frosted over.

Now this is a blow through set-up and since the fuel in a blow through set-up has a longer time to atomize with the incoming air the IAT drop is much more significant than in an EFI application.
