Default A-body turbo mounting solutions?

whatre you guys running for turbo setups in your a-bodies? im planning on putting a turbo ls in my 71 monte and would like to see what my options are. truck manifolds, aftermarket turbo headers, homemade turbo headers. post them up.

and does anybody make a kit to mount one in an a-body with the intercooler piping and all that, the lack of a welder or knowing how to weld halfway decent keeps me from making my own haha

No kits are available. Id advise that you get some mounts, throw it in there, and start mocking up manifolds. Cut the flanges off and get two v bands. It greatly reduces the space the manifolds need. OBX up and forward headers would also likely work.

I have a 72 monte I'm going to do I figure mounting the turbo like f-body guys do with an electric fan would be easiest and most room readily avalible without moving the battery

yeah thats what i had planned on doing. im not worried about getting everything to fit, you could fit two engines under the hood of it length-wise, i just dont have many fabrication skills haha. but i was thinking of trying the obx headers. any idea how much they cost or do you have a link for them?
