I don't know what this is
 

I recently picked up a 92 silverado sport side from a guy and he had already done a lt1 swap and put a turbo on there. I got to looking at thr turbo and noticed it said vortech v1 I thought that vortech only made superchargers? This is my first fi vehicle so I don't know much about the differences could some one please explain it to me? I have a pic but my phone won't upload it

Is it belt driven?

Not that I saw, it also sits in front and to the left of the engine, not on top of it like
I have seen on most supercharged vehicles

Its a centrifugal supercharger

the person that sold it to u said it was turboed, And, u couldnt tell it had a blower?
