Send Blake at 417Motorsports a PM on yellowbullet or 417racing , he can fix you up with ANY custom turbo kit truck manifold or tubular in a reasonable amount of time, for a fair price and not steal your money or parts. I'm pretty certain Josh was one of, if not THE one who pushed for him to be banned for posting pics or his work without being a sponsor in this site.

I thought I remember him saying when he started this business and became a sponsor he wasnt gonna get in over his head and would quit taking orders when he was overwhelmed. So much for that. Damn I hate to see good people get screw by a sorry excuse for a man.

I hate to say it, but after being on these boards for over 10 years now, this doesn't surprise me that he went out of business and burned a lot of people, but what does surprise me is how many people are still so naive to trust a one man operation with so many thousands of dollars site unseen.
The fact that he was a 'pay up front' company turned me away right away. That's a huge red flag saying he doesn't have any capital to be able to make a kit or pay his own labor so he needs to fund it with your advance payment.
How many of these people who were burned would be the same people to pay a GC up front to do work on your house? Would you pay in full up front? Never! Typically you pay 1/3 up front to cover cost of materials after they are delivered to the job site, then you pay another one third when they near completion, then the last 1/3 once the job is signed off and everyone is satisfied.
When will consumers learn that they have to protect themselves. Moderators (who aren't paid) aren't going to protect you. A message board that you participate in for free aren't going to protect you either. You must protect yourself.
I feel bad for everyone who lost money. I feel bad for this man's family because they are suffering from his poor business plan as well.

Paying 100% up front is never a good idea for custom fabricated stuff, I pointed that out in a sticky on here going to back 2004.
I'm disappointed in one or two other folks around this too, you were local and could see it was going the wrong way. I will pray that Josh will look for ways to make it right and not screw these guys.

I've spoken with a few small outfits recently that build kits in search of one for my car and all but one wanted paid up front. Riiiight, skipped.

one thing i think is messed up is that the mods were telling people not to tell the shady things that he was doing. the whole reason i like this forum is so i can look at what company's are making good products and who i can trust with my money. its kind of pointless to check out the sponsors on here if all your going to see is the good things.

With the stupid amounts of money he was taking from people and the fact that there isnt much overhead on tubing and welding supplies I cannot imagine how he doesnt have a big pile of money sitting around.
I said it before and ill say it again, I bet the break in was an inside job and the guy ******* hosed everyone and most of you guys were lined up around the block to defend him and lobby for everyone to donate money to "help" him out when the shop got broken into and all his customers initially got fucked.
