That's a bad *** car!
Even more impressive in person.
I was with 71 Chevy last weekend, I didn't realize
you were using just the foot brake, Nice!
Are you launching with the line lock and 2 step together
on the same switch? How are you releasing the 2 step at launch? brake switch?

i actually like the footbrake, with the 2 step and controller it is so easy, i roll up, first beam on, mash the brakes, mash the gas, get the boost up, let off the brakes slightly to get into the next beam, then wait for green and let off the brakes, i'm already 100% throttle and the controller takes care of the power management.
oh, and i only use the line lock for burnouts.

footbrake and tbrake activate the 2 step and the boost controller. so if i'm pulling into the lights and i'm on the footbrake my boost controller is putting whatever psi on the gate that i have set for launch, if i choose not to use the tbrake then i just bump into the second light and wait for green and let off the brake, at that point the 2step turns off and the boost controller starts going through it's stages, taking me from 12psi to 20psi. if i choose to use the tbrake then i build up the boost on the footbrake, bump into the second light, grab the tbrake which keeps the 2 brake activate as well as the boost controller, let off the foot brake, and as soon as i see green i let go of the tbrake which turns off the 2 step and starts the controller going through it's stages.

That is a very fast car!! Im waiting on a stroker kit, and change my setup, but Im looking for a larger turbo. You run a T4 or T6? My car weigh 3900 with 3.08. I may never 60ft like that!

Do you plan to use the trans brake any time soon ?

Thanks sir!
Car is more consistent on crappy tracks like Sunday at kdale. I heard lots of slower cars having trouble on that track and mine wasnt breaking a sweat. If i get on a real good track I'll try it again, but I like footbrake personally.

Thanks man. I am really trying to find some more power now, thinking about getting Dr. Turbo to convert this s475 to a s480, supposed to be able to support around 200 extra hp. i'm just not sure what would be the best move now to keep it alive on pump gas with more hp. any thoughts.

How much boost? Only reason I say that I think you aren't using everything it's got is because there are guys in our local RS275 class that weigh 3100-3200lbs. going 5.28-5.35@128-132 with that turbo. Now, that said they are going 1.19-1.23 to the 60' to do that, but they are doing it with nothing more than a manual boost controller.
With a little more compression, better heads and bigger cam you could for sure run what they are running. Or just put the bigger turbo on it.
