Well this engine has seen its limit now I guess. Since I have no drivetrain to handle it I cant test at the tack. If it holds till I get a rear/torque arm/driveshaft setup in it I guess ill test it at the track some.

Just go to the track and baby it out of the hole. Leave the line like you are at a redlight and see what itll trap. No one says you gotta leave off the limiter lol

I have Martins old 2step. I wonder if it would hold a 2500 rpm or even 3000 rpm launch with 25 psi in the slicks so they spin a little.

I think I can make the rear live if the torque arm don't break where it bolts to the rear when I shift to 2nd.

I really hope you don't have the stock ta under the car, that is seriously dangerous. Aside from that I love the build man great results from a simple set up. Now take care of the drive train and drive it like you stole it!

All is stock man unfortunately. I'm working to upgrade but short the funds for a while for that. I just do highway rolls when I wanna feel it. Never do 1st or even 2nd. Its mostly 3rd and 4th gear burst for only a few seconds. I'm easier than ppl think I am on it.

understandable, just browse around and pick up an adjustable used one. I bought mine used along time ago and it has served me well, many clutch dumps at 7k na and 6k on nitrous. I couldn't help but get a kick out of the comments on the first page, but I am glad to see lag is minimal. And if you are good with the 6 speed you won't loose boost in between shifts. Mine didn't fall off especially with the no lift shift on the n2mb box.

Since last weeks dyno at Tick only yielded 16psi due to tire spin, less dyno load, etc I decided to make a 4th gear short pull video to show what it does on the street. Nothing has been changed since I pulled off the dyno. No room to stretch it out but you can see I'm at full 21psi by 3800ish rpm. Slicks were starting to spin right before I let out. Only pulled to 4500rpm I think.

Anyone running the Spohn Pro Series Chromoly torque arm? Ive look at a lot and I even thought I may get a UMI from Ryans99ls1 since he has one he selling but the more I look since im manual I too Ryan may want a chromoly to start with. The Spohn is 1.5" tubing and looks really strong. Any of you guys got one to give some experience input?
Id get black of course.

Heres the link to it.

Yes i'm sure a ton of us in here run it. I have it and one thing i'll recommend is do not get the rod ends and if you buy it used go on his site and grab a poly. It is loud! esp on a car that sees a lot of street time

Spohn, UMI, BMR are all going to nearly the same. Mild steel will be stronger but its heavier. I want a chromoly one for the weight savings and cus the mount i have is too low for the roads im on.
