Yet another Turbo LSx Fairmont. 4.8/Borg Warner S375 (First Start 3-8-14)
I figured it would be fitting if I posted it in here as I am currently assembling (or at least attempting to) the turbo kit.
2 1/2" Piping
Borg Warner S375 Twin Scroll Turbo
I am not a welder by any means but I will be welding it.
Using a cheapo $79.99 Welder from Harbor Freight.
Basics:
1979 Ford Fairmont 2 Door Box Top
4.8 Truck Motor/LS6 Cam
F-Body Oil Pan
AJE Swap K-Member
TH400
UPR Front Tubular Control Arms
UPR Caster Camber Plates
UPR Coil Overs
13" Cobra Front Brakes
Full Build Thread (plenty of content)

honestly what i do now is tack the pipe to the side of the flange and then cut a piece of steel and close off the rest of it, not worth joining or expanding pipes anymore, just wastes time, remember for your next build

By Denmah style I mean sloppy, thanks for the advice - your builds/vids rock.
I also saw how you did the crossover/merge on the fairmont, where it met the other pipe at a backward "flow" a big no-no in the turbo world but seems to work just fine. This was my first try at a turbo kit or any type of welding, tried to be fancy with the merge - not next time!
