yeah i was getting alot of questions about the flashing and whatnot proceedure, people were willing to do everything but they were intimidated by this part, so this should show that it isnt that bad!

oh i have 12v adaptors, from laptops and whatnot, and i do use them on the megasquirt stuff sometimes, but this particular one i wanted to test the ecu on the sensors and whatnot on the motor before i shipped it out to someone, so i just did it on the motor.

i have never had a problem flashing and testing and even running the motors with the charger only, i understand the voltage moves around alot and the battery is better.

That eBay charger is way over priced.

"for the TPS and MAP sensor you will need to split the 5v reference, and then connect it to the TPS'

could you explain this lol... and the remaining wires on the micro ie. pin 13,14,15 etc they tied back?

amazing write up!!!

I have the same question. Also want to confirm that this works with high impedance injectors only? How do I use my LM1's wideband O2 with this?

Thanks

Tps and map both need connected to micro +5v reference wire. Look at the basic Microsquirt wiring diagram. Google Microsquirt wiring diagram for picture

well both sensors need 5v,

so that is the wire you split, you just add another connection.

the signal wire is what goes back into the ecu.

the 5v wire goes to the power 5v+ on both sensors, then the signal wire for the tps goes back into the ecu, same with the map sensor signal wire, after that both of the grounds can be paired or shared also.

What about larger injectors, will they cause issues. The only comment I've seen made is that with larger injectors the idle will suffer at lower RPM. Coming from a blow through carb like I am I'm not to worried about that Would 96lbs injectors cause fits?

What do you use for o2 in these setups...I see EFI Source sells these with an o2...but narrow band...is that what you are using for O2? I have a wideband now is anyone using one in conjunction with a microsquirt?

Microsquirt can be configured to accept any wideband input.

Do you think someone will sell packaged units with everything needed including a base tune?

we talked today about them modding the ECU ahead of time.

not sure if they will build a harness,
he sells the kit to do it yourself, but looming and tooling a harness is really expensive and most people do not want to pay for that.

i think they are going to build a plug and play harness for the Ms3 ecu and have a wire yourself harness also
