HPP Article on Ronnie Duke's T/A

:hail: :hail: :eek2: Great article! If you don't have a copy, I suggest you all pick one up. Amazing setup. Congrats to Wheel to Wheel and everyone involved in building it. I couldn't find the article on the High Performance Ponitac website if it appears, please post a link.

Is this in the newest issue?

stealth Apr 21, 2004 05:49 PM

Yea, and I know the Colorado shop the article refers to.

InvisibleSun Apr 21, 2004 06:25 PM

Yes, sorry - July 2004 issue - just got it in the mail yesterday.

Lots of good secrets were revealed!

Its in GMHighTech also. Thats weird that they would be in two Primeda rags in the same month (or at least close).

Did Dragon Race (?) do the work??

scottywheels Apr 21, 2004 09:01 PM

smokinHawk Apr 22, 2004 06:12 AM

NA$TY-TA Apr 22, 2004 06:30 AM

Damn i havent recieved mine yet.......

Reckless Apr 22, 2004 07:40 AM

At least the proper credit was given to Wheel to Wheel and their efforts. Too bad he didn't mention that Kurt was the pilot that made it happen :(

But I would like to find out which wheelie bars he used and how he attached them. Does he visit this site?

King02SS Apr 22, 2004 11:15 AM

Congrats to all involved in that car. It appears to be an impressive machine. It was the cover on GM high tech. I haven't read the HPP article on it yet but I plan to.

The wheelie bars are hand made for the car.

I assumed from their length that they were custom made. I have a pair of CE bars that are shorter. Is Ronnie a user of this site? If yes, what is his name?

We're making progress here. I need a set of wheelie bars for my 2001 Camaro SS, which has a new Moser 9-inch Ford rearend. Kurt . . . ?

BIGBOS Apr 22, 2004 12:36 PM

I was just reading the GMHTP mag, I love that car :)

Its a mean machine

427 Apr 22, 2004 01:10 PM

Those are one off. If the car was here we could do it. You need to find a local chassis shop cause the shipping would kill you!
