got some more done. Does anyone have a startup tune for megasquirt3 on e-85? I am real close to lighting the fuse on this bomb!

I am using an MS3x and micro for trans control.

Works pretty well, but I'm having problems with the VSS dropping out once in awhile. Causes the converter to unlock and sometimes it drops a gear or two.

I've also had a random pop/stumle/break up in boost that i'm still trying to track down...this MS3 has been a test of patience. Been screwing with it since April. Hopefully yours goes smoother. Sick build.

Running better, need some more tune time. Now get converter in and wire up the microsquirt and build a driveshaft and go for a drive!!!

Sweet build! Need some tires for sure, don't want to be putting that thing into a cornfield . Car is definitely going to roll out once it hooks!

Nice! Much like my first Chevy II 2 build that never got finished because of life. I hope we can meet up sometime. You'll enjoy the turbo 5.3, I wouldn't take it out until I broke it. Chris with the silver S10 has been 8.52 with a 5.3 and out of the box 366 Borg Warners.

Car is running good! Got the 325 M/T DR's on it and they hook great, 90mph in the 1/8th at a local street race. The only problem is it needs a higher stall, 2200 is not enough. It leaves with .2lbs of boost and slowly walks out about 100 foot then starts to pull....(like a freight train) The logs look like a 3200 would be about rite.

Went to the track and ran a:
2.05 60'
10.906@139.92mph

I am only at 1lb of boost at launch, needs a 4000-4500 stall, but it starts to move about 200' out.

Very nice car.
I nearly have the same setupp: 5.3, turbo, E85, Z06 cam, MS3X, 4L80, MSGPIO
What do you use for thans controler finally: µsquirt or MSGPIO?
I would be interrested by your msq, to compare timing. Is it possible for you to sent it?

The GPIO has more "features" but I started using the Microsquirt before the GPIO was "ready" and the microsquirt seems to be enough to get the job done.

And, has been fool-proof so far.

+1 for the Microsquirt, here.
does this take 2 megasquirt ecm to do the job, 1 for engine management, 1 for the tranny, or can one megasquirt control BOTH the engine and tranny

like to get into the megasquirt world more heavily, it looks like a really good solution.

Gui67, I will try to get the MSQ sent to u tonight, just look it over first and make sure you want to use it. I ended up using a tci ez-tcu for the tranny, (kinda feel like a traitor)
