Had enough power to run with a GTR that ran 9.90. ran him on the street 20-150mph. He pulled a couple lengths or so and we ran him down

Nope...he changed the setup again. 383 Holley HR intake and BEP compR 91 turbo. Adding a wolfe 10pt cage and changed boost controller

I just made a post about it. Basically, it lets you use your lightweight, stock rockers but upgrades the trunion shaft and bearings to a system where they are captive instead of being pressed in. Basically, there is no way for them to rattle themselves out and puke needle bearings everywhere.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-tutorial.html

They are going in my forged LS6 347 S480 CTS-V.

If 770 rwhp can be made with a shitty bullseye turbo, unported 317's amd a truck intake on a 6.0

Anything less than 950 with a built 383, aftermarket heads, proflo and a cast S480 would be a dissapointment.

237/237 .610/.610 115+5 for the cam.

Trickflow fast as cast 220's for the heads.

Should be plenty streetable....Martin will get you all hooked up on the cam and it should have great driving manners....

I second the TFS 220 as cast heads.....

Weren't we just discussing busting up each other's customers?

I got this one, back off!

Already got him on the right track with a set of TFS CNC 215's or As Cast 220's.

Very. With the cam I have in mind it work well and be very streetable. My turbo cams especially single turbo cams normally don't exceed 11-13 degrees of overlap@.050" which makes for a very streetable set-up with a 4" stroke.

We've been tossing around PRC As Cast 225's, TFS As Cast 220's and CNC TFS 215's. Possibly PRC 227's.

They would be cheaper than the CNC TFS 215's and 227's for sure. What I have done a lot of times is buy the 220's for a customer from TEA with their valve job and then send them to Tooley to be hand ported for an additional 300 bucks. IMO the results are as good or better than a set of CNC 215's. Not to mention the price difference as well.

I usually also have Tooley put his spring kit on them while they're there as. Also another thing I like about the TFS heads is that a 3/8" push rod can be utilized. I like this on a turbo motor especially on the exhaust side where pressure can easily exceed whats in the manifold by 200%.

So TFS 220's are ideal for this setup?

I would say that the 215's with a 2.04" intake valve are ideal for the bore size of the motor seeing as it's 3.903-.05, but a 2.055" valve in the 220 isn't going to kill anything.

The 220 is a solid head for this set-up.

Would it be better to run the cnc 215's?
