No we built the unit with the standard cast wheel for him. If he decides to go Billet and larger turbine wheel you will see a big drop in times and alot more mph. The combo he has now will still probably go faster as it sits now.
Mind throwing up some pics of how she looks inside? Trunk, interior....working my cage now...need some inspiration.
Thanks dude and wicked times. How's the glide on the street with that set-up...rough MPG?
Dave
No prob will do later when I get to a computer. Actually drove down there then into bakersfield which is another 10 miles or so past famoso raced and back home all on about 10 gallons of fuel. I brought 5 gallons of E with me just incase but didn't end up needing it. Car feels great with glide and the 3.23 gears.

What is your feeling on the 83mm hot side? It seems lately that the trend is to bigger wheels...especially on 6.0 and up displacement.
The big turbine will almost always make more power but does have more lag. This is actually the daily driver turbo off my truck I got it to tone truck down and save wearing out my S480. Just running it on car untill I get the bugs worked out. I had no idea the little basterd would be knocking on 160 mph lol.

On the truck did you keep making power up to arounnd 20psi or so with that turbo?
Actually 16psi is the sweet spot for this little turbo on 6.0L. It will make 18psi but it's just hot air past 16 and actually drops off up top with wg closed. The 92 or 96mm turbine s475 would hang in a few more psi.

I did have a guy put my T6 truck kit on a 79 Malibu and he said it fit perfect. I'd image the cross over hung a little low.
As always, Jarrett making my stuff look good!!
You know I'm easy to deal with :p

Yeah I was thinking the S475 with the 96mm and T6 flange would hit 160+mph!! I cant get over how quick this car is with a bunch of GM parts!! Awesome setup!
What wheel and tire are your running. Ive got a 71 nova im trying to tuck the tires like that. Any trimming of the wheel well? narrowed rear? stock springs? Thanks!
Now thats impressive!! Nice work! Hope to get mine dialed in that good sometime. You did it first time out.
Thanks yours and the red Nova on here are both really clean trick cars!

Running a ET street 275 radial, on 8'' wheel with 5'' backspace. It clears but no room to spare. 1/4's have been stretched a little as well. Car will take a 30x9 slick if you stink bug it.
