Default turbo 347 GTO horsepower estimates.

hey guys now that my motor is being wrapped up and things are goin well with getting her back up and running.

i wanna have a little fun. and might turn this is to a game price is right style.
i might even give a prize for the closest without going over.

motor.
forged 347 LS6 bottom end -11cc wiseco pistons eagle rods stock crank
VA speed turbo cam VTC2 23x/22x and .600ish lift.
AFR v2 230 heads 65cc chambers
ls6 intake ported ls1 throttle body
72 lbs @43 psi injectors mast fuel rails
AIS meth kit

Trans on back
newer core 4l80e built to handle 800+
circle D muiltidisk billet verter stalled at about 3200
gforce1320/PTS 3.5 alum driveshaft and full built gforce rear with trutrc and 3.46 gears

Turbo setup.
turbonetics midframe 78mm T4 with 1.14 ar 75mm F1 turbine and big comp over similar to the y2k unit
turbosmart raceport 52mm BOV
turbosmart 60mm wastegate.
will have 2.25 in to 2.5 crossover 4'' downpipe to cutout to 3.5 full exhaust

there will be two power levels to guess and maybe a prize for both

low boost and 91 oct pump gas.. 12 psi... cutout closed

high boost 91+meth 20psi... cutout open

oh and if there is more then one person with the same guess the first one to guess that number wins..

ill toss up my guess promise i wont edit it this is more of wht i wanna see

620 on 12lbs and probably some massive detonation with 20lbs on pump gas + meth. You should definitely run some race gas with the high boost setup. 870 with max boost and locked converter. Good luck!

it will get whatever timing it can take and still be semi safe..

cunningham motorsports will be doing the tuning.

with a proper tune up it will make it to about 20 lbs i think. but after they work their magic and it cant make it there well oh well..

i would like to have a race gas tune up for sure. and there might be one but really it would never get used but maybe a few times a year. ill be driving this as a street car most them time and only turning it up at the trck and most time time it will be on pump gas at the track also..


i feel that as long as theres not detonation LET HER EAT.. and see where she is when she is done i didnt build it to be scared to make power i built it to have fun and hopefully take the 5.7 turbo GTO record.
