How's the car scene in Kokomo? The Fort Wayne car scene used to be happening, but not as much lately.
Im not 100% sure on what he does exactly, hes more of an acquaintance, but he guards the bodies of fallen soldiers etc and he oversees the "homes for wounded warriors"... Hes been in the marine corps for like 20+years. anyway.

The car scene around here pretty much sucks... except for a few cars. mainly old ****, stock fart canned neons, and lifted old beater trucks..

Stock headbolts. Never took them off

Yeah Im holding my breath on the rear end. What kind of symptoms should I be expecting? Or is it one of the 'all or nothing' type breaks.... where you get no warning and you get to pay a tow?

Took it out to a cruise in today and beat on it just a lil bit. But Josh is right about the tires. Pretty much on skates. Although blowing them off at like 50 mph on an interstate is good times ... haha

Honestly dude, youll just hammer one day and itll stop moving and make a cool noise. I was turning a corner and just started accelerating kind of aggressively, not romping on it, and mine shredded. We had to push it 2 miles to adams house lol up and down hills. talk about a pain in the ***. It will stick break even with those shitty tires, the hard jolt from smashing the throttle will do her in eventually.

I love seeing a stock bottom end car making good power. I also love seeing all the post implying how it wont last blah blah blah. I make roughly the same power (638/538) on 11.5# with a 4.25 pulley and 16 degrees up top through a 9". Its been like that for almost a year. Of course it could go boom any day but I believe in a good safe tune and my KUP water distribution block keeping mine alive. Have fun with it and save up for a rear end now.

Nice work man. The bottom end will be fine as long as you keep the RPMs low enough and you keep detonation away. Mine has been getting romped on for over a year now and its fine. its been at 700+whp for the past couple months too.

stock head bolts might let go and you might start pushing water ( i did at 600whp and 19* degree timing) but if you catch it soon enough your motor will be fine.

Love the results though

Is this through an A4 or T56? I have a similar build with the same pulley but I've yet to dyno mine..Your numbers are very impressive I must say..... I was expecting upwards of 550rwhp.....

Yeah I would check the belt and all the pipe/couplers to make sure there tight as I have a D1 on a stock motor with a 4.5" pulley and I see 10-11lbs no dyno numbers yet

I was always under the assumption the stock bottom end was good enough for a turbo no matter what. (I don't know much about turbos) what would you have to change in the bottom end to make sure it will be fine? like a forged crank?

Nice numbers, I know that's fun on the street. Enjoy. Just be careful when the cool, dry air comes in the fall/winter, that's when my motor popped on me. It was a cool 28 degree day and it let go at around 4400rpm.

His setup came off my car, different cam than i had, better headers than i had. i had a better exhaust and intake. and my car made 571 @5.5psi with the same pulley. so 6.5more psi to make 73hp more.

i yet to receive a ride.
