Question help me decide aes390 or schwanke 375 for D1

Ok... i have a 2002 Trans Am 6M. I threw a rod in the stock LS1 at 9 lbs of boost with the Procharger (D1). I may be keeping my Ls6 Intake. I talked to Jeremy from Schwanke engines and he said he will have Isky make me a cutom cam for what i need. I am in colorado at about 5200 ft and plan to boost as much as i can. Not sure what to expect tho being at my elevation. I am probly 4 to 5 months out from having this somewhat completed, so no real hurry. Who has the better repution? Which should i go with and why? I am looking for 700 to 750 RWH. this will be a 99% street car and i will need to sneek though emissions. BTW are there tuners you can throw some extra cash and have it detuned to pass then retune it after you pass? thanks! I know i probly missed some info so let me know. Thanks! here is link for the Schwanke 375 http://www.schwankeshortblocks.com/s...?i=1491&c=1216

i have never personally heard of the 2nd builder, but i did just get in my AES 390 looking forward to a few more boxes at my doorstep so i can put it all back in, running a P1 right now but a D1 when i build the $$$ back up. Brian @ AES said it should be good to 800-900+.

Both are great builders, but for the shear fact that you run a blower I'd go with the 390 for the forged crank.

I am sure Tim Schwanke does good work but think he uses Mahle pistons not well suited for boost. Be sure to clarify that with him before deciding.

So TSP would be a better choice because i can build more effective boost with a slightly smaller engine/better engine or because TSP has the better reputation...or both?

I say 375! If you need some bigger injectors, I've got some!
