Just Can't Win Seems like everything has went wrong so far this year with the car. First I order the cog set up and had to wait forever on them to be made and then had to design a way for them to work, then I ordered a steel mounting bracket for the procharger that took 5 weeks to get, then supercharger had a problem which ATI said would be fixed and shipped on 4-20-04 which it wasn't,was shipped on 4-26-04 but to someone else and I got thiers, told on tuesday this week about the shipping mess up and that owner of the blower I had was driving from St Louis to Dayton to swap me superchargers but got a overnight shipping label from ATI to send his supercharger to him and he will ship mine to me. So I don't know where my supercharger is right now. Just seems I have the best luck with this car. :bomb: :hail: Just hope all the hard work pays off in the end. Sorry just needed to vent a little. Tom |
Tom, Mike told me about all of your problems when I was over their the other night. Hang in there bud...you will be running low 9's before you know it... :hail: If you need a big hug let me know? |
hmm, i could let you borrow a turbocharger for norwalk, if you dont get everything for that blower in time. :007: |
Sorry to hear that tom, seems like we are all going through issues........ I have a P1336 code that won't clear at all with a Tech II, so thats a problem.....thats the crank variation relearn BULLLLLLLLlshittttttttttt I also noticed that my crank pulley is moving again, so I probably will need to get the pulleys to stay together, from the looks of it where I marked the bolt the crank bolt hasn't moved at all, but the pins aren't sitting flush w/the "shark fins" in the balancer anymore..... |
Thanks guys. Guess I got use to running the car a couple times a week and now in the past two years it acts like it's affraid to go to the track. Heck I made 294 passes the first two years I had the car, and that was only the track passes which don't include the 100 + g-tech passes I made on the street. BOS I read about the crank pulley moving, maybe we should have went with the bolt together crank pulley set-up. Tom |
Tom are you running the stock balancer as well, do you have the two pulleys pinned? |
Stock balancer with the crank pinned only to the stock balancer. So nope I don't have the two pinned together. Tom |
Yea, I'm in the same boat, its only seen a couple hard part throttle flashes so far, guess thats whats needed to get it to slightly move, I'm going to have my local shop take care of it if they have time...... |
Sorry to hear about your troubles... *Procharged LS1 Hug* Things will get better. ;) |
That sux Tom :( |
That does suck, but hopefully you will have it back and be on the road soon! |
Yeah, it seems like more things go wrong then right with our cars... Frustrating... |
Its always that way, thats why I'm getting tempted this time for real to go back to N/A |
