Default budget built 6.0 swap 98 z28 with vortech supercharger

Here are some pics of my budget self built 1998 Z28 Camaro with a 6.0 lq9 swap, t56, 8.8 rear and a vortech supercharger and nitrous in progress. I have it running n/a right now and am trying to get the rest of the supercharger kit together as I have been piecing this kit together for 3 years now off and on as my budget allows and am now putting it together. Please see my other post as i need some help with the lower pulley spacing as im fabricating my own lower spacer to work with a tci balancer
My 6. 0 swap started when two of my double prc springs broke and cracked a valve guide in the process on my ms4 heads cam and nitrous ls6 motor. Everything else on the ls6 was good i already had the blower on the side and instead of changing my ls6 combo over to work on boost i decided to play musical engines and take the 6.0 out of my 2500 hd silverado and put it in my camaro!! then I took the 5.3 out of my tahoe and put it in my silverado. Then I put my ls6 in my gto rolling chassis I bought lol. The only one that got the short end of the deal right now is my tahoe baja vehicle is sitting with no 5.3!!

I use to have a V9 on my car, it was a pretty fun setup.

Do you have anymore pictures of the rear end? Looks like an interesting torque arm mount.

Removing the 6.0 out of my Silverado! I took the ls6 out of my car the lq9 out of my truck and put the lq9 in my Camaro all in two days!! I was sick of my car being down. The 5.3 I put in it has plenty of power and gets a little better mileage

Z28 on rack before taking out ls6. Pics of 3 inch into 4 inch xpipe ypipe fabricated exaust with thrush chambered muffler modified for 4 inch inlet and dual 2.5 outlets. I made the exaust to have an xpipe and y pipe setup together for increased scavenging and noise cancellation. It should be the best of both worlds in the xpipe vs ypipe question. Flow shouldnt be an issue with the huge 4 inch merge.

my vortech fbody supercharger kit that started as just a head unit that i bought from a guy who only used one time and upgraded to t trim. i proceeded to buy the remaining parts from various people and places and now have a full kit almost. I bought the brackets and most of the rest of a kit from a guy who changed to air to air t trim. Remember this is a budget build for me and saving alot of money like that made boost possible for me. I dont need a huge blower and want factory reliability.

how much boost did you get out of little blower? im hoping for 7-8 psi with my stock 6.0 with headers with the smaller 2.93 upper pulley i have. The 6.0 and headers will lower boost compared to a 5.7 but with a proportionate increase in flow and power at relative boost levels. its a small blower but hopefully the small pulley will offset the flow of the 6.0 and put me where i need to be.

the rest of the motor swapping marathon included putting the heads cam ls6 in my gto project and taking the 5.3 motor out of my 04 tahoe prerunner and putting it in my 2003 silverado which was done and running in one day!

this was the damage to my prc springs on my ms4 cammed ls6 after 11k miles of street use an track time a few times. Also it cracked one of my guides shown in pic. These springs stayed together decent i guess considering they were seeing over 7300 hundred rpms. The new prc springs are alot stronger i guess.
pic of the ls6 about to come out before i put in 6.0 s/c setup
