Ordering a bunch of parts Fruday, have a few questions. Im going to order the rest of my parts friday to get my car start and i had some questions on the parts im ordering... AES 390 Twin Turbonetics TC66 turbos E85 1000rwhp street car 4l80e? 1. Oil feed lines for turbos, Do i have to buy inlet flanges, or can i just put a -4an fitting directly into the top of the turbo? Do i need a restrictor? Cheaper to make your own or buy some? 2. What flexplate do you guys recommend? Ive seen some for $100, $150, all the way up to $300... They never have a HP Rating... |
Circle d makes a nice flex plate. If the turbo inlet is threaded then a 4an to 1/8 npt fitting is what you need. For lines I bought premade crimped lines. Didn't want the fittings leaking. I found them on eBay for like $25. Just figure out what length you need. |
For the feed lines I would order the adaptors. I know on my BW turbo theres a seal and has to run the adapter. Dont know about the flex plate |
