Default Got my car out to the track this weekend 10.700 @131 1/4

Ok guys finally got my car to the track an ran great. I'm on the right lane. Car is a 01 Camaro pretty much basic front setup 4l80e that's been freshened up and FTI 4000 stall converter custom cam Tnetics mid frame with 3.55s and 28" slicks running 16#s of boost. I was hitting the rev lemiter at the end not sure why maybe blowing through the converter?

car should have a lot more in it man. 60' should come way down

were you having trouble getting in to boost? try a run off idle and see what she does maybe might not help but might

not bad for a first outing for sure though get in the seat and get those times down

Nice run! Hope you weren't blowing thru the converter as I am almost finished with my basic FM setup and am also running a 4000 stall.

Thanks guys that was my fastest run and I left off idle on that pass got the car to do 1.6 60ft ran a 10.8 @129 but still hitting the limiter. I didn't have enough Time to play with my 2step since I finished the car Friday n went to the track Saturday but couldn't build any boost off the line.

still that's a good mph for not being dialed in all the way... why weren't you locking the converter or going into od?

I figured it be enough unlocked but since It was my first runs i wasn't expecting it but from the research I gathered haven't heared many shifting into overdrive.... I could be wrong.
