Default V-Banded Stainless "Truck Manifold Style" Manifolds X-Mas/End of Year SPECIAL!!!

X-Mas / End of Year Sale!

Truck Manifold Style, Stainless V-banded Manifolds

Normally: $450
Now through Dec. 31, 2013: $375 SHIPPED!

New product to help those DIY kit builders, or for those looking to enhance their current set-up with a nice set of v-banded manifolds without the hassle of having to modify cast factory manifolds!

http://www.shop.huronspeedproducts.c...s-truckman.htm

Designed after the ever popular "truck manifolds" for 98-02 LS1 f-body Turbo Kit applications. These come in a stepped header design to maximize flow, give great appearance, great strength out of Stanless Steel, and V-banded connections for ease of fabrication!

These are a great choice for those wanting to build their own turbo set-up or modify their current kit to utilize a V-banded manifold without the hassles of modifying a cast truck manifold and deal with welding the tricky cast.

Features:

Complete Stainless Steel, fully polished for a great look!

2.5" V-bands with step for perfect alignment

Stepped runners for best performance and flow

45mm-51mm-63mm Stepped Runners

1 Year Warranty against any issues!

Includes clamps and a set of flanges to build off of as well!

Standard pricing is set at $450 per set
X-Mas / End of year pricing set at $375 SHIPPED for the set through Dec. 31, 2013!

Order your set here: http://www.shop.huronspeedproducts.c...s-truckman.htm

With these facing forward, on the drivers side manifold for the steering shaft, the main runner for the log stays within 4" to the head side of the flange. The log runner tapers out a bit, so out by cyl 1 it is near 4", but back by cyl 5 it is about 3.5" from the head.

On the f-bodies we have a good 2 fingers of clearance to the steering shaft!

What is id or cross section of the header primary tube where it meets the head?

Think I see it, 43mm? My heads are 1 3/4 cross section so I would have a minor lip.

Cool idea for V-bands! Wouldn't there be a market for a passenger side forward facing manifold that came straight out the front so as to keep A/C?

No idea on a date as we haven't even started the project yet, just an idea as of right now if the demand is there!

Have you tried them on 6 bolt heads? Wonder if they clear the outside bolts, stock manifolds don't.

So a stock manifold wont fit a 6 bolt head? What if i have 6 bolt heads and a 4 bolt block?

Its that extra bolt provision on the cylinder head that obstructs stock manifolds. They have to be notched to fit.

Pass side coming straight out would work for a lot of other applications as well. It would have worked in my 2nd gen Nova. I suppose the current part could be modified, but at that point, best to hack up stock manifolds.

Not necessarily, these manifolds are MUCH easier to work with for a small or minor tweak that a cast factory manifold!

I need to get a set to test out! Would be great info to have but I currently do not have a 6 bolt set-up around to test. Soon as I do I will post up the info or if anyone has a 6 bolt set-up and wants to test it out, shoot me a PM!
