Proflow XT and ID1000's

I searched, but couldn't find the info I need.

I just got my ID 1000 injectors. These were in an LS2 with a FAST 102.

I have the Edelbrock proflow intake and rails.
The injectors seem to be in between lengths that the Edel rail mounts will adjust to.

I'm sure I'm not the first with this combo.
What is the solution?

Getting frustrated with things not fitting.

I had the same issue with my injectors when I made the switch. I had to get some thicker O'rings and problem solved. I also used Di electric grease on both ends with the new O rings and that helped with the seal. I had about a 1/4" of up and down play which worried the crap out of me. I have had no issues with leaking fuel after swapping to a thicker set of O rings on top and bottom.

LS2 length is 48mm. so work just fine...

but i think calling ID or T1 would be your best way to get an answer... or.... call Edle and see what size oring you need for the rail and bung

I have the right orings.
I'll go to the web site and get dimensions.
I don't know how these relate to the various stock injector lengths.

you need a pico 38mm (1.50" oring to oring) injector or a standard (2.650" oring to oring) 60mm injector. So you will need the right top hat from Injector Dynamics to make your injectors 60mm instead of 48mm

Thanks. I just figured this out. The edel setup won't accommodate the 48mm injectors. Unless I get creative, or spend more money.
Edelbrock could have done a better job on this.

The holley only accomodates the 48 and 60, but not the 38. They didn't do any better, lol.

Did Edelbrock say their setup would work with the short injectors ?

Yes, says it fits the Pico size which I think are 38mm
