I'd much rather race from a roll in a controlled setting. Have you checked your weight distribution on a scale? Shifting things rearward slightly sure helps it to hook up. Mine was 1440 front, 1600 rear(no driver) with an LQ4 maggie set up. I figure the Dart, turbo combo shouldn't add any weight so that will put it at 47% front/53% rear. Doesn't like to spin, launches very well off the track and on. It was just under powered. I think a Lam. Gallardo is 43%/57%.

You are wise to be concerned. Once mine's back together I plan on finding a shop that understands aerodynamics and HP. I'd like to run the Texas mile some day. 200 mph sounds like something I'd like to do.

Loving this project. I am building my own L33 powered 71 240Z. I decided to try the CX racing mount kit. The 280's must be considerably heavier and my 71 weighed just over 2400 lbs without drive and 1/2 tank of fuel.
Killer car man. Keep posting

Biggest issue I have right now is that the truck intake wont clear the hood. LS6 intake prices have gone through the roof. There selling for 500+ complete which is crazy for an OEM piece of plastic.
What camshaft are you running? Only mod I'm planning for now is a camshaft and springs. Turbo will be next year.

Still damn light. I went with the 06 L33 aluminum block to keep weight down. I think I will just go single turbo to keep cost down and it will be an easier setup I think. Just wont sound or looks as good Twin turbo just sounds more menacing.
