Soon! We are going to the track next weekend. I'm not sure if I will have the two step or brake boost setup yet but I will at least get some footbrake "brake boost" times. If I can squeeze a 9 sec pass with no 2 step/trans brake I'll be happy

After reading all 50 pages of this oh-sweet-Jesus beautiful build thread, I must say that I am more than impressed. And a little bit concerned about your safety, and sanity.
Regardless of whether or not it hasn't ripped apart or went airborne, you are pushing an antique chassis to over 200fps, with over 10X its original power! I think the novelty of this stock class suspension needs to be rethought.
You have committed to the rear end you are using, and that is fine, but if you can't use either adjustable A-arms (front and rear), or adjust the mounting points of the stock A-arms (front and rear), then it's time for you to move to a different class.
You NEED to address the fact that you are going 150+mph on a relatively stock 40 year old suspension that was designed to be a common man's (think: cheap) sports car. It's not safe for you or anyone around you.
At those speeds, the slip angle of the tires you choose needs to be known, the DYNAMIC camber/caster curve of your suspension needs to be set up for your exact tires' contact patches, your spring and bar rates need to be dialed in for your car's exact corner weights/distribution, the valving of your shocks need to be matched with the spring/bar rates... It's a system, all of it.
Your car is truly spectacular, and inspiring. But you really should give someone like Ron Sutton a call and have a serious discussion about how to make your car handle all that power safely at speed.
If you aren't a member already, join the lateral-G forums. Ron Sutton is a member, he will answer your questions, give you sound advice (learned from over 30 years of racing experience), and he will also walk you through adjusting the mounting points of your suspension (for a fee, of course... if you're good at something, never do it for free).
I really cannot find the words to describe how awesome your car is. I love it! But I'm a suspension guy, and it's the only thing your car is lacking... And it's a HUGE part of going fast SAFELY.

I appreciate the response and concern. I have to ask though did you miss the part about the fully adjustable LCA's, Fully adjustable camber kit on all 4 corner and the fully adjustable coil overs? Also there are a lot of people going a lot faster than me with way less suspension. The fastest IRS S30 is in the low 8's and the guy is still on stock shocks.

I did obviously forget about your adjustable lower control arms. I knew you had the camber kit and coilovers, though.
I may be underestimating the extent of your suspension upgrades. Everything suspension related seems to only be mentioned in passing. I was under the impression you were running 150mph on off the shelf coilovers... The same, one size fits all coilovers all the 300hp sbc swapped Z-cars use, or the 100hp L24/L28 datsuns, for that matter.
I did obviously overlook that you have adjustable lower control arms. You have done an absolutely fantastic job building this car, I don't know why I thought you may have neglected the suspension.
I stand corrected. Opening mouth, inserting foot.
Carry on.

Well you're not far off! I am running the run of the mill ground control coilovers and tokico 5 way adjustable shocks. I will admit the suspension has been an after though thus far but that is due to the minimal run time on the car. This Friday will be the first time it's been down the track as an automatic car. Once I'm confident the car is working mechanically this will be my next project. Thanks for bringing it up though. I kind of forgot about it honestly

Car made it into the August edition of Super Street magazine. To bad the "quote" the printed was a load of horse ****.. 370cc? "Rolling start" twice in one sentence? I did say it was cobbled together with stock parts though! I just wish the editor would have put the crack pipe down and read what he wrote before he made me look like a fool... Oh well coverage is coverage I guess.

1000 hp out of 370cc's! lol
Too bad they didn't show the side of the car, too. Being in super street is cool, even though it is a "cobbled together" writeup. Haha

So I decided to buy some cheap tube headers and make them work. What do you guys think is the best way to mount these turbos?
Intake in the fender? I'll only have room for a screen filter or very small filter like I was running before. Or run the exhuast through the fender and intake under the hood with a big *** filter. Obviously it would be drawing hot air off of the radiator like before. There might be some room to make some clever intake tubes to try and draw air from somewhere else.

Area behind the rad *should* be a hot low pressure zone. Not ideal for a turbo Inlet IMO. Better to face the inlets outboard and get fresh air from a fender area. Then route the exh pipes behind the radiator and dump under the car. Some sort of cover on the undercarriage should be used to help keep the area behind the radiator at a lower pressure. Lip spoiler/deflector helps too. Esp. for those ½ and full mile runs.
