D1 going on a 383

Ok I have this 383 built for a 300 shot by HKE and I decided to go FI instead of nitrous and I have a D1 with twin intercoolers 3.5 going on it. I'm almost done with the part list and about to have everything installed very soon by march or so. I currently have a FAST 92mm ported and I have decided to go back to my old LS6 intake to avoid ruining a fast. What TB do I need to run is my question or does it really matter when involving boost. I plan on running 8lbs. or so and i'm going to try to go up with time and plan on changing heads (PRC 5.3 heads 11:1) with time. And also i'm I going to be putting to much boost on it for 11:1 ? I have been talking to BOB@ BruteSpeed and plan on finshing my order very soon threw him just let me know what ya'll think and what you have gone threw !

Thanks in Advance !

The 1st thing I would recommend is a FMIC but obviously you can still run it with the twins. 2nd I would throw a set of 317 heads on that thing to lower the compression. They flow the same as the 243 LS6 heads just with a larger combustion chamber and they're dirt cheap. A meth kit wouldn't hurt either. Good luck with your build either way.

Yeah I have a meth kit going on it and heads are going to change soon and I plan on a FMIC in the next year or so when I get the cash to upgrade.

Alky BTW

Nice, sounds like you're well on your way to having a nice setup that should work pretty well and make some good power.

I had A similar setup, but with a p1. Ran great, actually miss that setup. Very snappy in and out of boost. Hook up that meth kit and dont get greedy with timing, and you will have a strong car!
