Dual Walbro 450s with stock bucket COMPLETE I searched high and low on how to make these pumps work on an Fbody (2001) or if it was even possible with the factory tank and factory hanger/bucket and had no luck. So I took it upon myself to make a thread to show it's possible/doable to get these to fit with small modifications and a lot of patience. The hardest part was fitting the socks into the tank as the plastic part holding the sock on to the pump has almost no give or flex to it. Pair that with the bottoms of the 450's being wide at the bottom, and you're in for a hell of a fight to get it into the tank, but its 100% doable.
I wired them so they both run at the same time, no hobbs switch. And I ended up moving the relays into the spare tire well since I decided to relocate my battery as well. Here are a few pics I took along the way.

Whew! Thanks man, I'm sure someone will find something wrong with it or could be done better which is what I like about these threads. It's First time doing something like this, I'm usually the person reading the write ups and trying what's known and proven to work! The other solution to make these fit was a $700 setup from a sponsor on here thats drop in and go, but I ordered these pumps and THEN saw that there was a drop in solution. Regardless, I saved $400 give or take.

What is one of those 450's been proven to? I know people were getting right around 550whp on a 255 Walbro, give or take depending on setup. Is there a "right around" number that people seem to be hitting the limit with on one of these?

Guy with a z06 made right at 700rwhp with e85 and a small shot.
Figure on pump gas they would support a bit more even boosted.

LOL! WOW! Look a me I guess I'm a pioneer at something LOL! Did this probably 2yrs ago in a T/A and theoreticly there is 1800hp worth of pump on reguar 93. Glad it worked out for you Rams. Yall did a great job with the limited information I gave you! Plus the guy who modified that bucket is a bad ***! LOL!

People have been running dual 450s on the truck side for a while now. I know Foose04 ran them to near 1000 rwhp.
A single 450 on E85 was done at 12 psi on my 6.0. Dyno'd 542 @ 8 psi. I've had dual 450s in my stock 99-02 truck bucket (same as fbody afaik) with no issues. I really like how you took minimal amount of the bucket out. Regardless, the bucket does have to be cut.

Based on some calculations I have made...
Dual 450's should be maxed out around 1150 (about 1180) rwhp on e85.
Dual 465's (same physical size as the 450) should be enough to flow over 1300 (close to 1320) rwhp on e85.
This of course requires a large enough injector to run a low base fuel pressure to get the most out of the pump... My calculations are assuming you start at a base pressure of 43 psi and run 22 psi of boost.
*Results may vary.
