billet 475 vs billet 480
I have a chance to trade my billet 475 for a billet 480 with a race cover.. Im going to do it but what do you think my gain will be?.. Car currently runs 9.60@139 on 15psi.. 302cid 4.8

Hope it's worth a ton... but at 15lbs I bet it won't be much. (wouldn't be the first time I guessed wrong though!) From what I've read recently over on YB I think you'll get a tiny bit of mid-range and negligible top end gains.
Would be a different story if you ran them both with the WG pinned. Do you measure back pressure?

no sir.. ya I agree.. both pinned would probably show a boost and backpressure gain.. I know in the diesel world I came from pre ls turbo stuff no matter what more boost made more power on the dynos.. but ya even with the 475 I had to put two gates on to control boost.. good part is that I have been to the track enough that I should see some difference.. if spoolup is changed I can always divide the head pipes going to the turbo as now its two into one and back into the dual entry ex housing..
