Have a few motors and not sure which one to go threw in the winter and build for the S10 with a single. I was always a believer in cubes. Some people say the 5.3 work the best. Any input on the motors. Thanks

From what I've noted, the 6.0 cars are running away from the 5.3 cars.
Depends on your ultimate goal though.

I'm happy with my 5.3, but if I bust it, I'll hunt up a 6.0

In all honesty, any of them will work great. There are stock bottom end 4.8s, 5.3s, and 6.0s all running in the 8s in the quarter mile. The only stock bottom end to run in the 4s in the eighth mile is a 5.3, but in all honesty any of them should be just as capable if treated the same way.

I would get whichever I could as complete as I could for the best price. Start with a cheaper 4.8 and if it blows, you're 500 bucks away from replacing it with a 5.3.
