So I got my ram air box custom made(the bottom half is remade and dumps directly down to the turbo) . Now my question is has anyone done similar with a volant box on a 98+ ram air hood? I am looking at doing a front end swap and want to make a similar (ram air to turbo box) any pics let's see them,


97 ws6, ls2, s475 billet t4.

Ps. I will be selling this ram air box along with the original (stock) bottom half when I sell of my 97 ws6 front end.

Here's my current set up with 97 front end, again I wanna see other people's custom intakes for turbo cars, specifically 98+ ws6 hood (if someone has done this)

Bump anybody have any pics of there intake on turbo fbody's . Do you just run a cone and suck in hot iat's. Someone has to have used a volant ram air box to there turbo

Sweet. I guess my next question is does anyone know the outlet tube size on a volant box... is it 3 or 4"? And is it plstic?

Any lt1 body turbo guys wanna buy my ram air to turbo box that I have now let me know.. the bottom is remade of aluminum and 5" dumps into the turbo..if it doesn't align with your turbo I'm sure you could cut it or ad a longer coupler if needed?

My turbo is a 5" inlet so if I gota hack up the volant I may as well build a whole nother box out of aluminum..volant replica only with a 5" outlet
