Default 4.5L Whipple LS Drag Week project.

Finished this project, so I thought I’d start my own thread.

1993 Mustang Coupe, SFI 25.2 cage, Whipple 4.5L blower with a 12 rib pulley system. ERL Super Deck 6 bolt block, 421” Hope to put this thing in the 7’s and drive it 1000 mile for Drag week next year... Wish me luck!

Whipple has been making blower kits for the LS series engines for years. This blower bolted to the heads without any problems. Great product and they make crazy power.

I knew they have blowers kits just didn't know that this beast was available for LS motors because I didn't see anything on the website but it's good to know that its available.

Whipple is still building the new site. There is still a lot of info, pics and products to be added. But there is a page that in general, talks about these sandrail LS kits. It is however, missing the 275 ci supercharger that LSMONSTER has

Here is a 4.0L I finished a few months ago. If I remember correctly, it made 1000 HP @ 15 lbs of boost and very low timing... The car had a shitty heat exchanger for the intercooler so I had to be conservative.

How do you route the cold air intake on this?
