Cam & turbo for hpde/time trial build I think this May be my first post, so hello to all. Before I go buying anymore wrong parts, looking to get some options on a cam & turbo for my build. Engine is a L33, with LS1 intake. The trans is a t56, and the rear gear currently is 3.73, though that may change. The car weighs right at 3100#. My goal is around 500whp (don't laugh). The engine will only see pump gas, and will be driven on the street as well as track day events, hpde and time trial competitions.
In my mind, I was thinking ls9 cam and a smaller turbo, something like 7-10psi max. Not sure what "smaller turbo" fits the bill, or even if ls9 cam is the right choice. Actually already have the cam, but can sell it. Just looking for opinions.
