363 stroker s484 iron or alum block?
I want to do a ls 363ci stroker out of a 5.3 with a s484 turbo. Thinking of using the l33 alum block to help lose 80-100 pounds over the iron block. Or would the iron block still be better to run? Want to run 25psi~28 thanks

I'm curious also! I had the same thought before, but going with a 370 or so. I don't think I'd be running that much boost though. You could also go iron and run 3-4 more pounds to cover the extra weight.

How much power? Manifold pressure has nothing to do with what kind of stresses the block is enduring.
I would lean toward a stock displacement ls3 if you must stay with an OEM block. They're one of the strongest aluminum blocks GM made.
