There's many people that have taken the stock crank to over 1,000 horsepower, some claim good for six, some claim good for 1000+, but I'm not sure where reliability falls in this power range.

You will likely bend a rod or break a piston long before the crank has anything to say about it.

Tuning is crucial, but LQ9 with the factory beefier rods should go 800 rwhp comfortably.

With forged pistons and rods on my LQ9 I'm told around 800 hp would be a safe bet

The crank is stock but it has forged rods and wiseco pistons that are gap for boost. Whole assembly was balanced . I just wanting to see how far people pushed them

I plan on taking my aluminum ls1 block and stock crank to 850ish rwhp. I'd probably be comfortable going to 1k with an iron block
