Yeah I'm running the corvette accessory drive. I should be starting a build thread soon.

Got the intercooler mounted up this morning. Just barley fit. Gonna have to modify the bumper bracket in order to get the charge pipes in there. Only have about 1/2" of clearance between the hood latch on top and 1/2" between lower valence on the bottom.

I don't want to buy i may have to remove the lower driving lights to get some more air flow to the intercooler.

Cool. I'll be following along with you. It's always interesting to see how many different ways there are to skin a cat or turbo a 69 camaro! Lol!

Looking good. What dimensions is your intercooler and piping? Do you have a link to it? I'm debating 3" or 4" intercooler. Don't really want a big restriction. I'm also running water/meth so not really worried about air inlet temps with just intercooler.

It's the treadstone intercooler rated for 1000hp
. I'm having trouble trying to get the link to it. I got it off of eBay. It's 3" inlet and out let. It's as big as you could fit in there hight wise with out getting rid of the hood latch.

Was fitting up my intercooler today and man it's tight with a 4" core. Started cutting rad support lip off. How much room do you have behind your driving lights wires are right there. I'm thinking about wacking the whole bottom half of rad. Support off. And maybe supporting it with a tubular piece after intercooler is in. It would be so much easier and have a hell of alot more air flow without the damn hood latch. Lol

I had to remove the wiring and bulbs to get it to clear. I thought about removing the driving lights also to help get air flow through it. I hear ya on the hood latch!!!lol I wish I just had a fiberglass hood and some nice zues fasteners!! I'm running e85 so I'm not overly concerned about high intake temps So I'll probably just run it as is for now and see how it performs on the dyno. I'm following your build too and it looks real good so far!! When are you thinking you'll have yours up and running?

Hoping for April. Most likely end of April. Lol alot to do in that time. I might try to modify the light sockets to 90 degrees. Somehow.

Finished up the merge pipe this am. Goes from 4" to 2.5" through a couple of knock off flowmasters that were already on the car. Couldn't be happier with the way it laid out. Really fits well under there.

.

Looks great. I'm just running a 4" dump behind pass. Front tire and eventually will run it back into flow master exhaust with dumps. I'm thinking about leaving the 4" dump with an electric cut out when I want it noisy tho. Great progress so far tho.

I was actually going to do the same thing but with the wheels and tires I have now it would deff hit making a right turn , im going to get diff wheels and tires so hopefully it will clear with those! Your build looks real good so far. I'm also shooting for April, may to have this thing out on the road, still seems like there is a mountain of work left though!!

Got all of the intercooler piping done. Also welded a dump on to the down pipe. The motor is ready to come back out to get the new oil pan installed and make mounts for the coil packs.

Also got the fuel cell and pump mounted today also.

Made some more progress. pulled the motor, installed the Holley oil pan, drill and taped the oil return and feed for the turbo, power washed the engine compartment, welded a dump in the down pipe, welded in bungs for o2 sensor, sprayed on some dht exhaust paint then wrapped the cross over pipe. Started putting everything back together for the final time now!!

Looks good!
If you think you have a tight fit, try twins in a Chevy II with a 3.5 gallon cell up front and a radiator while keeping the stock flat hood & latch!!

Got the harness cut down today. Also made a new power steering hose.

Also wrapped and set in the down pipe. Just waiting on the flange gasket so i can bolt up the turbo.
