Yeah. Had a friend down there a couple weeks ago and said about a month out. He really does seem to be on top of them for sure. Thanks for the info. Would love to check the Camaro out if you ever make it to Thunder Valley in Marion with it.

Did you get the cage put in it yet and did you ever get a chance to run it this year? Had some issues with mine first go around at Joey's (mechanical) got them sorted out and went back down and made 797 @ 16.5. I was very happy with that.

I'll post some numbers once I have them.

Love the wheels what back spacing did you have to get for the rear? I have a 69 also and need to order wheels from champion.is you're car mini tubbed?

No mini tub. The rear wheels are 15x10 with 5.5 inches of back spacing. Had to beat the inside of the wheel housing and trim the lip of the quarter a tiny bit to get them to clear.

Yup I just finished up building a 10 point 8.50 cert cage. I also pulled out the 5.3 and put in a ls1 stroked to 383 and stepped up to a s480.

Nice! Looks good.
Just finished updating mine to an 8.50 cage. Only got to make three runs with mine this season. Did manage a 9.71 leaving with the footbrake and no boost shutting down a little early. Only had a 1.56 60'. Hoping with the cage and got the trans brake hooked up now maybe we can get some low 9 runs out of it. Hopefully we can both make it to Marion at some point next season. Yours should run damn good now!

That's hauling *** man! I made a couple of short passes on the 1/8 mile track with the 5.3 and shut down early but it was on track to run a mid to high 9. I will deff be at the king of the streets race in August. In gonna try to make it up there a couple of other times too.

It's the treadstone one that is rated for 1000hp. I don't have any pics of that piping but I did have to remove the main bumper brackets off of the frame to get it to clear the piping.

Man that's good power. I'm hoping to make it down for the king of the street race. I should be down a couple other times for the stock and super stock races there.

It spools pretty quick, maybe a second of lag, About the same as the s475. Made 962 at 23psi. It's a stock housing, cast wheel s480, also put in a ptc converter. Gonna race it pretty heavy this next summer if every thing holds up. Next winter I'll add a race cover and billet wheel to the turbo and a custom ground cam for my combo, shoot for 1000whp at 20psi.

Thanks! Switching to the aluminium block ls1 took about 80 lbs off of the front end so it's sitting a little to high now. I'm putting qa1 coil overs and tubular control arms on the front and will lower it by an inch or two, also got a set of afco eliminator double adjustable shocks for the rear to help plant the drag radials.
