Default Looking for 8-12psi safely stock ls2 shorblock

Ls2 gto. 115k miles stock ls2. Got the tvs2300 finally...

As the title states I want to try to reach 12psi as safely as possible. I am gonna run an ls9 cam and port the stock 243s. Freshen up the valvetrain with comp pushrods, lifters, springs, oil pump, timing chain.
I want to bring down the compression to be able to cope with the boost I want.

-How thick can I go with gaskets and how much will it drop my static compression?
-Can I run the stock gap sparkplugs? If not, are zr1 plugs good substitutes?
-What methanol kit can you recommend?

Close the plug gap to .16-18. Stock compression is fine. Read your plugs & adjust your fuel/timing by what they want.

I ran 12 psi and nitrous with my maggie on a stock ls2
Used br7ef plugs gapped pretty tight. Get a good tune and it will live a long time. Mine had 19 degrees of timing air fuel in the low 11s at wot.
